The language used is brilliant, lyrical mostly but...
The book is deceptively overly complex and overly simplified at times. I get the message and found THE BOY's struggle to be both interesting and curious but not life changing.
I don't know. I think my expectations were to high. Don't get me wrong, not a bad read but not something that spoke to my inner soul or that I could not put down.
Here is my advice. Read it for yourself and then judge.
